We have found Llanerchcoedlan bed and breakfast farm with the Sulphur house on a map dated 1817, but we understand the farm house is 300 years old. Major alterations and an extension to the guest house was added in the early 1900's. This was to accommodate the ever increasing numbers of visitors to Llyswen and the sulphur house for them to either drink or bathe in the healing waters. The Victorians were great believers in 'taking the waters' and ladies in crinolines carrying lace parasols came to stay at our bed and breakfast farm near Llyswen , and take the waters within the years of 1911 to 1914. This was was such an attraction that a fair with swing boats was held here at our bed and breakfast farm near Llyswen every Saturday. People from several miles around would come in coaches drawn by either two or four horses according to the number of people.

You could also sample a glass of our own Sulphur water with your breakfast-with prior notice.
